Nine coastal Indian states Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal are home to all the major and small ports of India. India has a total of 12 major seaports and some private seaports like Krishnapatnam Port, Ennore Port, and Mundra Port. The 12 major ports of India are listed as follows.
